We are one family. One family . . . by blood or marriage or friendship. We live in the same small town in Central Illinois. We are moms and daughters. We are sisters and cousins. We are grandmas and wives and aunties.

We all love to quilt and were raised to believe that a girl should always wear her undershirt. And, on those days when you
wear a dress, a petticoat is always in order. This is where you'll find photos and stories of our quilting adventures.

Another Snowy (Quilting) Day!

It's just past 7:00 a.m. and more snow is falling quite rapidly.   Everything is white.  The cleared driveway has been hidden once again.  It's beautiful!  Especially through the windows of my nice warm kitchen.

I'm sipping coffee and watching Alan clear a path with the snow shovel while still in his pajama pants...the family is soon to arrive for breakfast.  I had a facebook request yesterday for Aunt Becky's French Toast!  We'll have our breakfast and lots of laughs as the fireplace glows in the dining room before they all head out into their own weekend.

Then I'm heading to my little quilting studio in the corner of our house to stay for the remainder of the day.  I will quite contentedly watch the snow fall through those windows.

Happy Snow Day!

Becky
