We are one family. One family . . . by blood or marriage or friendship. We live in the same small town in Central Illinois. We are moms and daughters. We are sisters and cousins. We are grandmas and wives and aunties.

We all love to quilt and were raised to believe that a girl should always wear her undershirt. And, on those days when you
wear a dress, a petticoat is always in order. This is where you'll find photos and stories of our quilting adventures.

For Maria . . .

These quilts and Becky's travel bag were hand-made by me, Olivia, mom & Becky for a benefit auction and "party" for our dear friend, and my cousin, Maria Herren diagnosed just a few months ago with stage 4 cancer.  We traveled with our "goods" to Columbus, Ohio last weekend (Feb. 12&13) for the big event, which raised a total of $12,500 to help with medical expenses.  We love you, Maria.

Tara's quite happy that her Daddy bought her the travel bag.  Thanks, Mike.
I think she's planning a vacation now with her husband and 3 beautiful children!

Made by Cindy.  Her sister-in-law, Wendy was the buyer,
which made us all very happy to have it stay in our family :o)
Olivia worked so hard on this amazing quilt for the auction...Aunt Becky and Uncle Alan
knew they had to have it on their living room wall at first sight of it!
This one is mom's creation.  It was purchased by our
dear friend, Brenda Knotts, who lives in Chicago.
