I started this 3 weeks ago and finished the top last Sunday. Today, Olivia and I got to Sew Sassy in Urbana to pick up backing. The prints are Westminster designs by Denyse Schmidt that I picked up in Washington at Peddler's Way. The pattern design was chosen from "Scrap Basket Sensations" by Kim Brackett, which is a book I got when we were in Dallas. Yes, I do find quilt shops everywhere we go!
Beautiful!! We just got that book in at the shop where I work and I was really drawn to that particular pattern. What are you planning to do with this quilt?
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who loves cobalt and cream...her whole house is highlighted with them and has been as long as we've known each other. It's her signature. I always think of her when I see a cobalt/cream combination print. I think it will become hers.
