We are one family. One family . . . by blood or marriage or friendship. We live in the same small town in Central Illinois. We are moms and daughters. We are sisters and cousins. We are grandmas and wives and aunties.

We all love to quilt and were raised to believe that a girl should always wear her undershirt. And, on those days when you
wear a dress, a petticoat is always in order. This is where you'll find photos and stories of our quilting adventures.

Scrap Play

I ask you...How much basketball can someone watch?  Alan can watch it day and night this time of year, and that's fine with me.  I, however head to the quilt studio when the TV comes on.  Without any unfinished projects to work on, I dove into those recently organized scraps.  It all started with a left-over charm square...when Sunday was over, I had a cover for my sewing machine!  And VCU beat Kansas!

  1. That is a seriously pretty sewing machine cover! Wow - I'm impressed that you finished the entire thing in one day... and with applique... and embroidery!! Good for you. I spy your bright bundle of Gypsy, etc. in the background ;)
